A Bridge Between Worlds
For years, living in Tokyo, I’ve been asked the same question:
“Where are you from?”
When I say Rwanda, people pause. They’re amazed by how far from home I am and often surprised by how naturally I’ve adapted to Japanese culture.
When I tell them it’s not so different that people are kind, that daily life feels safe and structured, that Rwanda is one of the cleanest and safest countries in Africa they struggle to picture it.
Many admit they’ve always wanted to visit Africa.
But they don’t know where to begin.
Some are hesitant.
Some are unsure about safety.
Some ask whether international hotel chains exist because that would make them feel more comfortable.
Others are curious but overwhelmed by logistics, language, or simply the unfamiliar.
And then something changes.
When I tell them, “If you go, I’ll take care of everything,” their entire posture shifts.
They relax.
They get excited.
They start imagining it.
Over the years, I began planning trips for friends, colleagues, and people I met in Tokyo including Japanese travelers who were worried about transportation, communication, or navigating daily life.
For some, I even traveled with them from Tokyo, guiding them personally and managing every detail from arrival to departure.
And every time, I saw the same transformation:
What once felt intimidating became effortless.
What once felt distant became deeply personal.
That’s when I understood something important.
If people who know me still feel uncertain about planning a trip to Rwanda even knowing it is one of the safest countries in Africa how overwhelming must it feel for someone without a local connection?
Delle Rwanda was created to remove that uncertainty.
To bridge the gap between curiosity and confidence.
To offer not just travel planning, but reassurance.
Because Rwanda is extraordinary not only for its landscapes and wildlife, but for its warmth, structure, and everyday beauty.
And sometimes, all it takes is knowing someone is there to guide you.
